We are now trying to go back to doing some things we were doing a few days ago that would really make us happy in a more stable and secure way.

This is a fine thing. However, we are running into some difficulty doing so. That is because we are falling back into the same traps we faced earlier, which was overthinking things, being anxious and detached, and worrying too much what others will think.

We then feel a bit frustrated. As a result, we go deeper within ourselves to better understand what the issue is and get more confident.

That then brings a lot of internal emotion and motivation that pushes us to just do this thing we want to do that will make us happy.

However, right after we do it, we then feel sad or scared, and begin to back off what we just did. We also start to get in our head a lot and suddenly fall back into old fears and anxieties.

Because of that, I recommend taking it slowly with whatever you do during this time, being aware that it could feel uncomfortable, having compassion for yourself throughout the process, and nurturing yourself through it.
