December 19, 2025 – January 18, 2026
We recently fixed some longstanding issues from the past with relationships and money that were preventing us from moving forward into a new, different, and better experience of life that we have been trying to get to for quite some time.
That is great. However, we still don’t feel able to actually move into these new and better experiences, despite all our efforts. That is making us feel a bit down and discouraged.
Why is it taking so long? And why does it feel like nothing we are doing is really working?
Because we seem to be stuck yet again, and unable to move forward, we then begin to realize that we just need to focus on the things we can control, and on the place we currently are in life. We realize that we just need to hold off on doing anything new or better things and instead make our current situation as good and solid as possible.
It may not necessarily be what we want to be doing at first, but it does pay off! Focusing on our current situation allows us to adjust our relationships, money, and sense of self so it feels more secure in life and more able to sustain whatever new things might eventually come. It also helps us to get more comfortable and secure in a new set of behaviors that are based more on our emotions and instincts, which we have been cultivating for quite some time, and which also will help to facilitate new experiences much more easily.
Explore this lunar month’s four major moon phases below.

New Moon in Sagittarius
Still not able to plow forward on the new
December 19-27, 2025
We recently fixed some things from the past that are in the way of a new and better experience. However, we still don’t feel able to move forward into a new experience, or like it is here quite yet. That is then making us feel a bit discouraged, uneasy, and confused with ourselves, money, and relationships.

First Quarter Moon in Aries
Creating more security and structure
December 27, 2025-January 3, 2026
We begin to think a little bit more about why we still can’t move forward into the new and what our best plan of action is. We begin to realize that the best way to move forward is not on new things (because we are still hazy about them). Instead, the best way to move forward is to release the new things for now, and just focus on better working with what we have, or making where we currently are more solid, secure, and strong. It is not necessarily what we want to be doing, but it is what needs to be done. We then take action to do that.

Full Moon in Cancer
A solid foundation begins to form
January 3-10, 2026
Because we let go of some new experiences we wanted to cultivate, and instead focused on better structuring our current experience, we then start to feel more solid in our lives. We feel like we actually have a really good foundation to eventually do new things that we want to do (even though those things are still a bit hazy) that can support them in a really healthy way. We feel more optimistic about ourselves, relationships, and money. We may also get some helpful insights about how to make our current situation even better.

Third Quarter Moon in Libra
Holding ourselves back
January 10-18, 2026
Even though things are going quite well with our current experience, taking hasty action on new and exciting things still doesn’t feel right. We still don’t feel like we are in the best position to pursue those things, with the full amount of clarity we might like. As a result, we realize that we still need to hold off on doing those things. Instead, we continue to make our current situation more solid, and just envision what our future might look like when we do feel ready to move on.

Questions for Reflection
You can answer these questions to yourself, in your journal, or in the comment section.
- What are some new and better experiences that you ultimately want to manifest in your life?
- What are some blockages that you feel are in the way of those new experiences?
- How can you let go of those new and better experiences for now, or lay off them for a time?
- What does your current experience need in order to be more solid, or ultimately sustain those new things? Is there something you need to change, subtract, or add?
- What would you ultimately like your current life to look like, in order to sustain the new experiences you dream of? Envision what kind of person or life you need right now in order to be the person you want to become.
- What would be the best possible scenario for your current situation, if the new thing you desire still won’t come together?
