Lunar Month of Libra 2025: Finding Emotional Balance To Support Healthy Action

October 21, 2025 – November 20, 2025

We have recently felt more able to act more fully on our passions and deep desires — and many of us have also recently taken big leaps of faith in order to facilitate that.

That is a very good thing because it is these actions that are based more on our passions (instead of our logic or sense of responsibility) that will ultimately help us to create a new and better experience of life that we have been trying to get since 2020, and will finally come to fruition in March 2026.

However, now that our emotions have been let loose and we have taken a big leap of faith, they are all out of sorts. They are all out of sorts from being held in and held back so much from all these years. Now, we want to do everything our emotions want immediately! Now, we may have some residual anger from the many years past when we were stuck.

This is not the best approach, because not everything needs to be done! And not everything needs to be done now. This idea that everything needs to be done immediately is the residue from an old life and old way of behaving where progress, respect, and achievement was the biggest measure of success (instead of emotional fulfillment). Really, only a few small things need to be done at this moment to change our lives for the better by March 2026. In addition, we also need more time to adjust to this shift in our lives, as well as any big leaps of faith we have recently taken.

If we do too much too soon from an unbalanced state, we may burn out, create things from negative place, or overwhelm ourselves.

As a result, we are trying to calm our emotions this lunar month so that we can focus our efforts on the one or two small actions that we are most passions about and will give us the most bang for our buck.

At the beginning of this lunar month, we are actually able to find some semblance of emotional balance and direct our behaviors in a helpful way.

However, as the month goes on (and Mercury goes retrograde) we become weary of this more calm approach. We feel it is too slow and boring — when, really, things are happening at a fine pace! In addition, we keep getting more passionate ideas unexpectedly we want to put into place NOW or take care of.

As a result, some of us may act out suddenly in an imbalanced and reckless way to break free from this sense of restraint and pursue these unexpected ideas. These actions can then backfire and cause confusion.

The others who don’t act out may still be left feeling lost as well, and also confused about why nothing seems to be moving in the way they might like, which is obviously challenging.

But from this frustration, we then begin to realize that it is not the actions themselves that matter the most (at least not anymore — since we finally figured out which actions to take last month and have already initiated them). Instead, what matters most is the feelings we have while we are doing these things, and the deep emotional transformation that takes place as a result.

That is because a new and better chapter of life that we have been trying to create since 2020, will never be new and better (no matter how many new cool things we have in our life) if our emotions don’t truly feel it.

Finding emotional balance to support healthy action

October 21-29, 2025

We have recently started to go all in on new behaviors where we honor our emotions, including our passion, more than ever! This is a good thing because it is these actions that are going to permanently change our lives for the better by next March 2026. However, we are now beginning to realize that our emotions want us to do so much right now very quickly, especially after ignoring them for so long. But that isn’t necessarily the best. Sometimes, doing everything at once can lead to a lack of focus. Sometimes doing things too fast can lead to burnout. That can create big imbalances within ourselves, which can make our actions ineffective. In addition, our situations don’t need us to do a lot of things to fix them — just one or two things done wholeheartedly will do. As a result, we are learning to calm some of our deep desires so that we can ultimately harness them more effectively, which happens easier than we might think!

First Quarter Moon in Aquarius

Purposely restraining ourselves to prevent burnout

October 29-November 5, 2025

We have recently realized that we need to better balance our emotions if we want to act effectively on some of the things that we desire. We have also managed to achieve a good level of emotional balance already! Now, we are beginning to take action on some of our emotions, passions, and desires (yet again) from this more balanced place. That is enabling us to approach our life more calmly and clearly, and to focus our actions so they can be more effective. This is a great thing. However, deep down we feel a little frustrated by this balanced approach. Deep down, we wish we could be a little more reckless and chaotic, and throw caution to the wind! Unexpected ideas, news, or events may also occur tempting us to lose our calm and pursue more of our passions from a careless place.

Full Moon in Taurus

Frustrated by a more calm, balanced, and easy approach

November 5-12, 2025

We have been doing such a good job balancing our emotions and acting on our passions in ways that are more calm and measured. However, it is not entirely what we want to be doing, even though deep down we know it is the right thing. We want to be pursuing our passions with more abandon and intensity. As a result, inner frustrations begin to stack up. We begin to feel resentful that we must retain some level of calm and focus. Some of us may then act out unexpectedly and recklessly, doing too much of what they are passionate about too soon from an unhealthy emotional place. These actions may then cause problems.

Third Quarter Moon in Leo

Allowing more joy and happiness to naturally emerge

November 12-20, 2025

We continue to feel frustrated that we must follow our passions with a little more calm, balance, and restraint. Some of us who took unexpected action without restraint may also continue to feel frustrated. This frustration can then lead us to feel confused — confused about why what we are doing isn’t working, or at least hasn’t worked yet to change in our lives in a better way. It can also trigger some deep emotions about what is — or, rather, is not — happening in our lives. However, this confusion and deep emotion isn’t meant to make us miserable. Instead, they are meant to turn us away from external actions that can be taken and inwards towards our deep emotions. Instead, they are meant to awaken a new emotion where we feel truly joyful in our lives and don’t have to push or strive in order to get there. That is because the real change that is now needed — is not hundreds of actions. It is just a few small actions done right, and an open heart big enough to recognize them. It may be a little uncomfortable at first, but by the end of the week, we begin to come around and open up emotionally, which may be unexpected.
